Production Engineer with a Focus on Tools

Your Role

As a production engineer providing production support with a focus on tools at Saab, you will be part of the Production Technology Tools team, where collaboration with other production engineers, quality engineers, production management, production preparation, and production control is key. You will be a key player in streamlining tool manufacturing both in the short and long term.

In your role, you will work practically in tool manufacturing and contribute your expertise by:

• Supporting tool manufacturing in developing short-term and long-term solutions to problems that arise in our production
• Assisting other interfaces within the tool area with solutions
• Driving and participating in improvement work to optimize our working methods, techniques, and processes

We work with simplicity and clarity. Every morning, a daily management meeting is held where current challenges and activities are reported, giving you the opportunity to quickly gain insight into the daily work. You will report directly to both the section manager and project manager, thereby contributing to high efficiency and continuous competence development within the entire tool area.

Furthermore, you have:

• Theoretical knowledge equivalent to a high school engineer and practical experience from manufacturing.
• Experience in production and/or tools.
• The ability to work systematically and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, there may be requirements for specific citizenship.
